Hi, everyone!

Oh how I just adore the family I'm blogging about today. I'm lucky enough to say I've been photographing the Raquel and her son Cullen since 2009! This year, I photographed Raquel and her entire family. I truly can't believe how much the children have grown and changed since I first met them.

Cullen was one my first clients when I began photographing children and families nine years ago. I remember him as an energetic child ready to play. We would have to move with him during a session to ensure we got the shot, because sitting him still was just not his style. Today, he growing into a fine young man.

And, it goes without saying, Raquel and I have become friends over the time we've worked together. It's hard to not become friends with someone like her, she has a very sincere nature. I met her husband, Joe, and he is just as great. He is very dedicated to his family.

When Raquel called me to take their photos again, I immediately began counting down the days to our session! And as for the day of the shoot, I had so much fun! They had a pretty great time, too. Their images came out beautifully. When I dropped off their holiday cards last week, I got a look at the finished wall art portraits on their wall. I have to say I got a little emotional to see such a beautiful family on the wall, celebrating each other.
